iHeadHunt was founded in November 2012 by current CEO Peter Rasmussen. Peter became a computer scientist in 1988 and started as a developer at Danske Bank, then Tryg and after 14 years at ScanJour was appointed R&D development manager and Outsourcing manager. Here he became very interested in the entire employment area in both Denmark and Ukraine. After that he became self employed and after a few years he started iHeadHunt.
The name is inspired by Apple products, such as the iPad, iPhone and iMac – which is why it was natural to call yourself iHeadHunt; as we only focus on technical profiles and especially in the IT area.
iHeadHunt’s primary purpose is to search for core competencies of our candidates on behalf of our clients. Ie. real IT headhunters where we match the candidate with the customer’s wishes and needs.
In addition to Peter, we have hired several consultants, who cover the entire palette from the classic research role and to having direct contact with the customer. In addition, we have associated several researchers who are typically in the process of a long-term education in the IT field. It provides a good background as an IT researcher.
Core competencies
At iHeadHunt, we are good at getting to know – and understanding our customers’ real needs. We also challenge these from time to time. Peter has an ability to easily understand the world you as a customer must act in because of his background – and it provides equal relationships, where we are often used as sparring partners. We also understand the world of our candidates, as we ourselves have been in their place. We are therefore good at being at eye level, whether it is the young developer who has just started his career or the CTO with many years behind him.
Values
We emphasize having a confidential and serious, but also an informal tone with our candidates and our clients. We live by having a good name in the industry and long-term customer relationships. We do not try to cut a heel or chop a toe in order for the job to sound better or for the candidate to fit the position better. We are very transparent and honest. We look for a long and rewarding collaboration for all parties with great integrity and conscience.
The main reason for choosing iHeadHunt is that CEO and Founder Peter Rasmussen has a background as a computer scientist (and HD) with 20 work experience both as a developer, architect, IT project manager and development manager with responsibility for all recruitments. When combined with 10 years as a headhunter, he has a unique knowledge of the industry both with recruitment eyes and an understanding of the hiring manager’s situation. We have only chosen to specialize in the technical area and especially the IT area, as we want to understand at the technical level what the customers demand. It is often necessary to be completely sharp in finding the right profiles – and not least to ensure that we only send professionally relevant candidates to our customers.
Likewise, Peter has included Scrum / Agility / Sprint as part of the Search process, which means faster and more efficient processes, where the first candidates are typically presented within 10 working days. All candidates are quality assured by Peter and they are both motivated and interested in the job change.
Finally, iHeadHunt is very transparent throughout the process and also challenges the customer if we feel that the requirements and wishes are unrealistic. We are often used as actual sparring partners throughout the process – and not just as headhunters who send candidates for presentation.
We are a small and very flexible company, which means that we always set ourselves up in the way that the customer wants to execute a recruitment process. We are here for you – and not the other way around.
Peter is the founder and owner of the company. He graduated as a computer scientist from the University of Copenhagen in 1988. He also has an HD in Organizational Theory and is a certified coach.
He started as a developer at Danske Bank and became ScanJour’s first development project manager on their web-based ESDH solution. Subsequently, he became department head with responsibility for all recruitments, including the start-up of the Ukrainian software department with 18 men. In 2009, he partnered with recruitment company Totem and founded iHeadHunt in November 2012.

Joanna works as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and has +5 years of experience in recruitment within the IT and Engineering industry.
She has primarily worked in the Danish and Scandinavian markets, but also has an international approach, as she has worked with large companies in e.g. Ireland and Switzerland.
With her experience in recruitment and business development, she understands market trends, company values and the importance of creating successful collaborative relationships.

Mads is a Talent Acquisition Consultant and in addition to being a researcher is responsible for many of the underlying processes and back office tasks in iHeadHunt. He has a master’s degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen, which makes him a strong professional profile with good insight into economics, marketing and statistics.
Mads has a solid knowledge of the IT industry after he has been employed as an economist at Statens It (Department of IT services, within the Danish ministry of finance) for more than 3 years, and both coded in Python, VBA and developed reports and dashboards in Power BI. Finally, he has taught new colleagues in data processing and Power BI.

Marle works as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and has +4 years of experience in recruitment within the IT and Engineering field.
She is a business-oriented recruitment specialist, who has primarily worked in the Scandinavian and European markets and specializes in headhunting of IT specialists, managers and sales profiles especially in IT& Engineering fields. With her experience in recruitment and the background in sales, she understands the market demands and aims to be the best possible recruitment partner to her clients.

Sofía is a Researcher and is responsible for most of the graphical things at iHeadHunt. She recently completed her degree in Psychology (BSc.) from one of the best universities in Mexico and is pursuing a career in recruitment. Sofía has e.g. taken courses in psychometric tests.
